We Love Animation

Animation Artwork 06 Header

Video is the most popular medium online and recent studies have found that 93% of internal communication professionals now believe that video has become essential.

If you want to ensure that employees will remember your message, video is the clear winner with people retaining 68% of the information from video after 72 hours compared to just 10% of something they read or heard.

At Global, we’ve found that the simplicity of animation can be a great way for businesses to communicate complex subject matter in an engaging and visual way that is easy to digest. Animation can also be used for a variety of purposes such as onboarding, explaining complex processes and company announcements. Another benefit of video is that by presenting information more visually, it allows you to work around language barriers – for example redubbing for international offices or even forgoing spoken word entirely.

Animated videos are also highly accessible. With a smartphone they can be viewed almost anywhere. As mobile use continues to rise, so has video consumption. Mobile video views grew more than 233% between 2013 and 2016 and this trend looks set to continue. People are now more used to watching content on mobile devices as opposed to reading.

Bringing the animation to life

Here at Global we love to get stuck into animation projects and help businesses reap the benefits that animation can bring.

We start off by meeting with you to understand what you want to achieve with the animated video and the message that you want to communicate. Once we have a clear idea of what you want, we will create a script and produce a rough board which will help you to visualise the narrative flow of the video.

At this point you’ll get your first exciting look at how everything is starting to take shape. Following the review stage, we’ll then move onto creating artwork.  We’ll help you select voice over artists too, if required. Once the artwork has been created, this is the part where the animation is brought to life. Check out the images below taken from an animation that we produced for Inspire as part of their Entrepreneurs branding.
