The Bournemouth Coastal BID is one of two BIDs voted through by Bournemouth businesses in April of 2012. Since then, they have helped to increase the amount of foot traffic for people visiting Bournemouth by improving the visiting experience. They also provide visitors and local people with reasons to spend more in local coastal businesses, which in turn helps to boost the economy and tourism of the local areas. Bournemouth Coastal BID approached Global needing a brand refresh that would suit the BIDs fun personality. They felt that their old branding didn't reflect the colourful and exciting nature of the work they do around the Bournemouth districts. We were asked to create eight unique district brand identities for all of the regions of Bournemouth that fall under the Coastal BID, as well as showing the four pillars that the company stand for both visually and graphically.

Global worked closely with Bournemouth Coastal BID to create a brand that would reflect on their creative personality. As well as building a clean and stunning brand for the BID, Global also helped to create several campaigns for them, including Halloween and Christmas. Global was also tasked with to work creating uniform that would be worn by Bournemouth Coastal BID workers. For this, Global designed a uniform that the employees would be proud to display their new refreshed brand on and feel good whilst doing so.

This is a case study that represents the exciting and colourful brand that Global created for the Bournemouth Coastal BID. Our clients appreciate the time and effort we put into learning the brand and their journey, while we equally enjoy immersing ourselves into the brand and identity.
