A Thunderbolt dock is a must have for anyone who wants to expand the capabilities of their MacBook Pro. CalDigit have two Thunderbolt 3 docks available, the TS3 Lite and the TS3, which is the more expensive model.

TS3

The TS3 is the most powerful of the two models and is designed for users who need their Thunderbolt device to be the main charging hub for their laptop. It provides up to 85W of laptop charging alongside a host of other connectivity options, such as USB 3.1, eSATA ports and Gigabit Ethernet. It’s all housed in a sleek and elegant silver box which can placed horizontally or vertically depending on your workspace set up.

TS3 Lite

The TS3 Lite is the cheaper option but still packs in a number of features including 3 USB 3.1 ports, HDMI connection and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Unlike the TS3, there is no charging capacity, it is purely for connectivity expansion.
