We are excited to announce that our latest digital project has gone live. Over the past few months we have been working with Hawksmoor Investment Management to refresh and redesign their website, as well as build a whole new website for their Fund Managers.

Hawksmoor were looking to make the new site easier to use by reducing the amount of text and pages and organizing it in a way that makes it easier to find. They also had a long list of forms that clients could download, which we have reorganized and displayed in a clearer way using sidebar widgets and subheadings, with each page showing only the relevant forms for that service.

The homepage has undergone the biggest transformation to help make it more eye-catching and help guide customers to the relevant section they need. The previous homepage had a boxed layout, whereas the new site has a full width layout. Hero images in a slider have text overlaid explaining Hawksmoor’s services. We have used typography to break up the text and images with service descriptions direct users to Hawksmoor’s services. The previous website was quite text heavy therefore the new website features a lot more imagery that relates to the brand and the products and services they offer.

The typography used is based on their current branding using a combination of serif and san-serif fonts to convey Hawksmoor’s classic and stylish branding. We have also used their palette of colours for consistency – the muted tones give the website a sense of sophistication which work well with the architectural photography, which makes reference to their name, inspired by the late-seventeenth architect Nicholas Hawksmoor.
