04 Nov Behind the Scenes of Virgin Media’s One Magazine
Here’s a peek into the process of creating the most ambitious VM One Magazine Issue yet.
We have proudly worked with Virgin Media for 7 years, creating their internal communication piece, One Magazine. Initially a traditional magazine, it has since grown into Virgin Media’s primary publication, with various print production methods being explored in each issue making it both informative and engaging to the employees of VM.
For Issue 17 the brief was simple, make it different, make it a one-off and make good things happen. After weeks of planning, mind mapping, collaboratively working, designing and producing, we created what we believe to be the most ambitious and eye catching issue yet.
Centred around their employee engagement campaign – Summer Sessions, the final result is a 40 page, perfectly bound Magazine with a 4 page screen printed acetate cover. The magazine includes four internal coloured stock pages printed with a metallic ink, combined with strong typographically designed spreads.
